I'm loving your articles!! I do have a question! how would you go about optimizing risk management for funded trader programs and making sure the risk of ruin is the least
Great work, been really closely tracking my statistics on various trades within my system so I can know which setups I want to size up for. I had been using a standard size for every trade which really doesn’t make sense. But I couldn’t justify arbitrarily setting size on the fly either. So really getting nerdy with the data is HUGE
Very helpful, visuals were great. One thing it can’t account for is the mental barrier of playing fixed percentage once your portfolio grows.
Newer traders struggle when trade size grows, may stop out quicker, etc when they see a big dollar loss even tho it may be only -5% on that trade. But that’s probably a different topic.

One of my favourites articles. It's really eyes opening how betting size change trajectory of you equity curve.
Its my belief that Expected Value (called EV or expectancy sometimes) is the one true metric which all systems should be judged.

Helpful graphs tho, thanks
How would you factor in risk/reward for each trade in your simulations?
Good article
Good information
Great write up thanks! Really clarified some things for me.
